Is the Media destroying the very fiber of Morality in the U.S.?

What do we want the future society of the United States to look like?  Do we want a society of violence and immorality or a healthy and productive society focused on the good things going on in our country?  There are many noble and good causes out there and many in this country are involved in these good causes. Unfortunately much of the media today does not focus on the good things going on but focuses on dysfunction and negative things going on in the country. This needs to change for society to improve. Those citizens on the borderline between criminal behavior and productive citizenship only get negative influences and ideas from the negative programming such as violent acts and  victimizing others. The producers of this kind of Media must take responsibility for how they are harming society by creating this kind of programming.  It needs to stop!
